Job summary

Encore Global in Orlando, FL, is seeking a proactive IT Operations Technician to manage on-site IT operations, network readiness, and event support for hotel/convention environments. You will configure equipment, monitor networks, troubleshoot issues, and deliver exceptional client service under the direction of the Property Director and Area Manager.

The role requires strong hospitality mindset and solid network knowledge, with a focus on security and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of field experience in internet services support required.
• 2-3 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Internet services, bandwidth, IP wired and wireless networks.
• Certifications like CompTIA or Cisco CCENT/CCNA/CCNP encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down AV and internet equipment per event.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly and follow security measures.
• Maintain network readiness and document layouts.
• Plan and execute event network needs with high service levels.
• Assist in back-office IT troubleshooting and mentor technicians.
