Job summary

Commonwealth Hotels is seeking a Hotel Housekeeping Operations Manager for the Sonesta ES Suites New Orleans Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. You will oversee daily housekeeping and front desk operations, lead a diverse team, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include optimizing operations, training staff, managing budgets, enforcing health and safety standards, and collaborating with sales to improve occupancy.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping operations management.
• Strong leadership and staff training abilities.
• Excellent guest-service focus.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Familiarity with hotel management software (PMS, POS).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations across front desk and housekeeping.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest complaints and maintain service standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards.
• Support sales and marketing to improve occupancy.
• Act as General Manager in the absence of the actual GM.
