Summit Hospitality Group in Charlotte Uptown is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our hotel's housekeeping program, ensuring top-tier cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will supervise staff, enforce brand standards, and coordinate with the GM and engineering to maintain safety and efficiency.

The role requires 2–5 years in housekeeping management for hotels or related settings, a high school diploma or equivalent, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years housekeeping management experience in hotels or related settings.
• High school diploma or GED, or 2-year degree in Hospitality or related major.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Basic computer skills with Word and Excel.
• Clear English listening, reading and writing abilities.
• Ability to schedule associates to meet budgets and goals.
• Strong attention to detail and guest relations.
• Effective supervision, coaching and communication of goals.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 50 hour work week including weekends/evenings.
• Establish and implement standards and procedures for housekeeping staff.
• Inspect guestrooms and public areas for quality and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventories of guest supplies and amenities monthly.
• Train housekeeping and laundry staff to Brand/Corporate standards.
• Supervise linen, uniform, supply and storage rooms.
• Maintain inventory controls for uniforms, linens and supplies.
• Participate in annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor energy use and conservation programs.
• Coordinate safety and key control procedures.
• Work with GM/AGM/Chief Engineer on maintenance needs.
• Contribute to rehab/renovation planning as needed.
