Job summary

Wyndham San Diego Bayside is seeking a housekeeping supervisor/lead to oversee room attendants, house persons and inspectors. You will guide daily operations, ensure standards, and manage payroll-related entries for accurate compensation.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of housekeeping experience, solid knowledge of hotel operations, and strong leadership and communication skills to motivate staff and uphold service quality.

Qualifications

• 2 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a comparable hotel.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, budgets, safety programs and guest service.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff of room attendants, house persons, and inspectors, providing guidance to meet standards.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance and address discipline when appropriate.
• Arrange staff work schedules based on occupancy and projects.
• Submit payroll records and ensure accurate pay including extra charges when needed.
• Maintain records for budgeting, forecasting, and inspection scores.
