Job summary

Grand Hyatt San Diego is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure guests experience a clean, comfortable environment on the waterfront in downtown San Diego.

You will supervise staff, conduct daily inspections, and coordinate with front desk and maintenance to ensure timely room readiness. Prior supervisory experience in hospitality, strong communication, and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hotel housekeeping experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; ability to use hotel management systems.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure our guests experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have prior housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry and strong leadership skills to supervise and support the housekeeping staff effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring all rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are cleaned and maintained to hotel standards.
• Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping employees to enhance performance and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct daily room inspections to maintain high cleanliness and quality standards.
• Coordinate housekeeping operations with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure timely room readiness.
• Maintain housekeeping inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Monitor and enforce safety and sanitation policies, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist in scheduling and managing workloads to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Address and resolve guest concerns related to housekeeping in a prompt and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and brand standards.

Wage: The hourly rate for this position is $30.56/hr.

Shift: Full availability is required. Shifts can range from AM (9:00 am to 5:30 pm), Mid (10:00am to 6:30pm), or PM (3:00pm -11:30pm)
