Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs is seeking an experienced Hotel Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping and laundry teams across the hotel. You will supervise staffing, budgets, and quality control to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards and guest expectations.

You will develop strategies, manage inventories, and partner with external services while fostering a coaching culture, safety, and professional growth for associates in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Five years of hotel supervisory experience required.
• Must be able to obtain license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Responsible for following Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGRs).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for Housekeeping and Laundry to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure rooms, public areas, and laundry meet cleanliness standards for occupancy.
• Maintain inventory of linen, amenities, supplies, and chemicals.
• Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of hotel areas.
• Monitor compliance with brand standards to maintain quality.
• Prepare and manage annual departmental budgets and forecasts.
• Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses for housekeeping and laundry.
• Address and resolve guest complaints with corrective actions.
• Oversee quality of external service providers and ensure adherence to standards.
• Manage staffing: hire, train, schedule, evaluate, coach, and develop associates.
