Job summary

Varsity Collection Hotels is seeking a friendly Guest Service Representative to join our team. You will manage reservations, check guests in and out, and assist with any guest needs throughout their stay.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and background checks will be completed as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest service or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with computer systems and reservation management software.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservations and check guests in and out using a computerized system.
• Handle guest requests such as tours or restaurant reservations.
• Assist with check-in/check-out, payments, and issuing keys.
• Answer phone calls and online inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist with organizing events and meetings.
• Address guest concerns with courtesy and professionalism.
• Perform light cleaning tasks and restock supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
