Job summary

A prominent hotel in Albuquerque is seeking a Sales Coordinator to manage guest room bookings and sales. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of hotel or relevant experience, strong skills in contract negotiation and customer service, and a relevant Bachelor's degree is preferred. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hotel or relevant experience in group sales and/or servicing groups.
• Must possess a valid New Mexico Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• CI/TY knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed pre-determined booking goals for guest room revenue.
• Responsible for prompt handling of inquiry calls and monitoring paperwork efficiently.
• Solicit new and repeat guest room and meeting business.
• Evaluate a potential piece of business for profitability.
• Maintain contact with historical and lapsed clients to re-ignite relationships.
