Highgate Hotels in Scarborough, ME, is seeking a General Manager for the Residence Inn Portland/Scarborough location to lead profitability, guest satisfaction and staff development. You will ensure budget adherence, sales focus, and high service standards while guiding a team across departments.

The role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and hands-on mentoring to drive performance and guest experiences in a dynamic hospitality environment aligned with Highgate standards.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year degree with 4–5 years related experience; or a 2-year degree with 5–6 years related experience.
• Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
• Must communicate effectively, be guest-service oriented and able to supervise multiple departments.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced hotel setting.
