Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Light work - ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally/10 lbs frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Clear verbal and written communication with staff and guests.
• Maintain regular attendance and professional appearance.
• Comply with hotel standards and safety regulations.
• Show initiative and problem-solving in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner.
• Be attentive to guests’ needs and provide a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist cashier in collecting money or cards as needed.
• Prepare cashier reports at shift end.
• Distribute servers’ tips when appropriate.
• Take reservations for outlets accurately.
• Ensure menus are clean and in good condition.
• Perform opening and closing duties per sidework checklist.
• Know standards for receiving room service orders.
• Understand current menus and specials across departments.
• Support servers and cashiers in guest service as needed.
• Maintain guest satisfaction throughout service.
