Job summary

Residence Inn by Marriott Anaheim/Placentia is seeking a part-time Front Desk Associate in Placentia, CA. You will handle guest check-ins/outs, upsell rooms, and assist guests with services, local information, and brand standards.

The role requires weekdays/weekends availability, strong English, and tech-savvy computer skills. Responsibilities include maintaining a positive guest experience, operating the Property Management System, and representing the hotel as MOD when scheduled.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak fluent English.
• Strong computer and typing skills, tech-savvy.
• Stand for long periods behind the desk and front office areas.
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work weekends, and/or holidays and all shifts.
• Looking for availability for 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly guest service.
• Check-in/check-out guests promptly.
• Act as MOD when scheduled.
• Register guests and issue room keys.
• Answer phones promptly.
• Upsell rooms to boost revenue.
• Use and maintain the Property Management System.
• Complete brand trainings and access Brand Portal.
• Follow hotel procedures and protect guest safety.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately.
• Address guest complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with breakfast setup and meeting room prep.
• Document events in the communication log.
• Maintain lobby and public areas appearance.
• Operate front desk equipment as needed.
• Willing to work any shift, including weekends/holidays.
