Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a Front Desk Associate in Las Vegas to provide guests with a friendly check-in and check-out experience, and to relay hotel information regarding amenities and events. You will handle room keys, process payments, and assist guests with questions about services, amenities, and local attractions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months front desk experience.
• Ability to communicate with guests and staff in English; 45 WPM typing.
• Knowledge of hotel key system; 10-key experience a plus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods; flexible shifts.
• Able to balance accounts; money handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Sell rooms utilizing excellent customer service skills.
• Resolve guest inquiries and complaints regarding hotel services, events, and local attractions.
• Retrieve and distribute room keys.
• Calculate and print hotel bills and process payments.
• Communicate with Executive Hosts regarding hotel stays.
• Use computer to run necessary reports; balance transactions at shift end.
• Operate manually during computer failures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
