Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation seeks a friendly hotel front desk associate to provide check-in/check-out and guest information about amenities and events. You will assist guests, handle billing, and coordinate with casino hosts to ensure a smooth stay at our properties.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and front desk experience with strong English communication. You will use hotel software and stand for long shifts while delivering excellent service to

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 6 months front desk experience is a plus.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to operate basic office machines and telephones.
Excellent English reading/writing and guest communication.
Knowledge of hotel key system and ability to learn hotel software.
Ability to work flexible shifts and stand for long periods.
Detail oriented with multi-tasking capability.
Money handling experience and ability to operate electronic draft system.
Ability to use LMS, CMS, and Hot Sauce/Espresso systems.

Responsibilities

Provide guests with a friendly and efficient check-in and check-out experience.
Sell rooms utilizing excellent customer service skills and yield management.
Resolve guest inquiries about hotel services, events, directions, and local attractions.
Complete registration forms and input data into computer systems.
Retrieve and distribute room keys to guests.
Calculate and print hotel bills and process payments.
Coordinate with Casino Hosts regarding hotel stays.
Run necessary reports on the computer.
Balance transactions at end of shift (audit out).
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
