Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts operates San Ramon Marriott and seeks a front desk associate to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will greet guests, guide check-in/out, manage keys and accounts, and promote HEI marketing programs. A friendly voice, accuracy, and multi-tasking are essential.

The role requires a High School diploma, hospitality experience preferred, and offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage in the California hospitality market.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
• Hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome, listen to requests and provide accurate information.
• Complete the registration process using a computer system and confirm guest details.
• Code electronic keys and provide room keys, folders, and related materials.
• Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization; handle cash and balance the house bank.
• Accept vouchers and foreign currency; post charges to guest rooms and accounts.
• Answer the telephone promptly and relay messages to guests.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and address dissatisfaction with appropriate solutions.
• Field guest complaints and research solutions to resolve issues.
• Remain calm during emergencies and heavy hotel activity.
• Comply with attendance rules and perform other duties as assigned.
