Job description

You’ll welcome guests, manage their account information, and ensure they have everything they need for an exceptional stay. Responsibilities:
  1. Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers.
  2. Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests.
  3. Mitigate customer complaints as needed.
  4. General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date.
  5. Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests.
Qualifications:
  1. Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent.
  2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
  3. At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred.
  4. Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations.
  5. Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
