Job description

A Hotel Front Desk Agent is a professional who must be able to multitask, be a team player and enjoy having great conversations. We are looking for seasonal as well as year-round team members. This position has the potential to grow to other Lodging department supervisory positions. It allows you to contact all other departments within the Resort. Some cross-training will also be part of this front desk position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Check-in guests, check-out guests, cashiers, and give directions
  • Accommodate guests’ before/during/after their stay; take Guest complaints and either help them or pass them on to the appropriate person
  • If the switchboard is busy, answer the telephone
  • Be familiar with the resort and all its properties
  • Stay up to date on all events happening in the area
  • Keep the front office area clean and tidy
  • The front desk is open 24 hours a day and requires that employees keep a flexible schedule to cover all shifts
  • Prepare guest key envelopes
  • Serve as a liaison between departments
  • Other tasks to be assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience in OPERA preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
