Type: Part-time

Location: Rochester, Finger Lakes, and Western New York regions

Reports To

Guest Service Manager or Assistant General Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, register, and assign rooms
  • Answer phone calls and handle guest inquiries
  • Post charges, compute bills, and process payments
  • Make and confirm reservations
  • Monitor room availability and block rooms
  • Program wake-up calls and handle guest mail/messages
  • Assist with check-out services and shift cash drops
  • Maintain the lobby and surrounding areas, ensuring cleanliness and proper operation of fixtures and equipment
  • Provide local area information and hotel services to guests
  • Assist with hotel shuttle services and laundry duties as needed
  • Maintain the continental breakfast area
Qualifications
  • 1-3 months related experience or training; High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer skills: Internet, Microsoft Office
  • Effective communication skills
  • Valid New York State Driver's License (for select properties)
Physical and Work Environment

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, work in moderate noise levels, and occasionally handle fumes or airborne particles. The environment is open to the public.

Compensation

$16.50 - $18.50 per hour
