Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel is seeking a full-time Hotel Engineer (Level 1) to monitor, maintain, and execute the preventive maintenance program for the property's HVAC and related systems. The role reports to Chief Engineer and involves hands-on repairs, filter changes, coil cleaning, and motor replacements.

The ideal candidate will perform sustained heavy work, handle tasks safely, and contribute to a hotel environment with a focus on reliability and guest comfort.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining hotel HVAC and related systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, and electrical equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with safety awareness.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, maintain and execute the preventive maintenance program for HVAC and building systems.
• Make repairs to hotel air-conditioning system: change filters, clean coils, replace motors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment (boilers, chillers, electrical, etc).
• Demonstrate ability to perform heavy work including lifting up to 100 pounds as needed.
