Job summary

Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a full-time Hotel Engineer (Level 1) to monitor, maintain and execute the preventive maintenance program for heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, ensuring comfort and safety for guests and colleagues.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the engineer will perform repairs, preventive tasks on boilers, chillers and electrical systems, with emphasis on reliability, safety, and minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance on HVAC, boilers and chillers.
• Ability to perform heavy work and lift up to 100 pounds, including climbing stairs and ladders.
• Full-time availability in Baton Rouge, LA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and execute the preventive maintenance program on HVAC equipment.
• Make repairs to air-conditioning systems, replace components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers and electrical systems.
• Work safely with lifting requirements and heights as needed.
