Job summary

The Watermark Baton Rouge Hotel is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer to oversee and perform preventive maintenance on the hotel's HVAC systems, boilers, chillers and electrical equipment. You will report to the Chief Engineer and ensure reliable, safe operation with minimal guest disruption.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, HVAC license/certification, and at least 3 years of HVAC experience in a complex facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and carry out the preventive maintenance program on HVAC systems, boilers, chillers and electrical equipment.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work with the Chief Engineer.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Occasionally perform heavy work and lift up to 100 pounds as needed.
