Job summary

The Watermark Baton Rouge Hotel is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer to monitor and maintain the hotel’s HVAC systems and related equipment, ensuring reliable operation and minimal guest disruption.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent with HVAC license/certification and at least 3 years of HVAC experience in a complex facility. Candidates should be able to perform heavy work and lift up to 100 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC license or certification required.
• At least 3 years experience as an HVAC mechanic in a complex facility.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain hotel HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, and electrical systems.
• Change filters, clean coils, replace motors as part of HVAC repairs.
• Operate with a guest-focused, service-oriented attitude.
