Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Plano seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, pool, grounds and FF&E. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and related equipment to keep the property safe and inviting.

A high school diploma is preferred; training or certifications in maintenance trades are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with guests.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) in the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule basis.
• Maintains pool, grounds, and exterior of building.
• Adheres to safety policies, reports hazards and assists other engineering staff.
