Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Park City, Utah seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, and to maintain the building, FF&E, grounds and pool area.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues, follow safety procedures, document work orders, and collaborate with other engineering staff to ensure reliable operations and guest comfort across all hotel facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
• Equivalent education/experience accepted.
• Know-how across multiple trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry).
• Ability to lift and exert effort during extended periods.
• Strong safety orientation and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunction in mechanical or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) and other equipment throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Maintains pool, including chemicals and filters; completes maintenance logs.
• Maintains exterior and grounds for curb appeal (lawn, painting, landscaping).
• Adheres to company policies and safety procedures; reports hazards and incidents.
