Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a skilled engineer to maintain hotel systems and the building envelope, ensuring safety and energy efficiency. The role includes supervising staff, managing PM programs, and upholding budget and quality standards across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and life-safety systems.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience in a comparable hotel setting, with strong knowledge of building trades and maintenance operations.

Qualifications

• Vocational schooling or military training in building trades.
• 3+ years hands-on experience at a comparable hotel location.
• Hotel/property maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building systems and the building envelope to ensure safety for guests, associates, and vendors.
• Supervise engineering staff and oversee PM programs and budgeted guidelines.
• Follow preventative maintenance procedures for guestrooms, public spaces, and building systems.
