Job summary

Indus Hospitality Group, Inc. seeks a skilled Maintenance/Engineering Supervisor to lead hotel engineering staff in preventive maintenance and repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.

You will supervise, train, and mentor the team to ensure optimal operation of all hotel assets. Role requires coordinating work orders, following safety protocols, and maintaining schedules for systems such as heating/cooling, fire alarms and guest amenities, while collaborating with Front

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• The work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and occasional outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise engineering staff; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems.
• Perform repairs including painting, wallpaper, tub/sink, wiring, woodworking, concrete and tile repairs.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment.
• Train Engineering and Front Office staff on sprinkler and fire alarm procedures.
• Assist with outdoor seasonal work and snow removal; coordinate work orders and records.
