Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across the hotel, ensuring guest comfort and sustainability goals are met. The role supports the Chief Engineer in hiring, training and coordinating a maintenance team.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, managing vendor bids, overseeing small projects, and performing essential repairs to electrical, plumbing, HVAC and life-safety systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school coursework in related field preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience required or equivalent training.
• Local or state certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Engineer in interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching and supporting associates to meet brand and HHM standards.
• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Manage bids, quotes and contracts for 3rd-party vendors.
• Oversee small projects and report on progress (PIPs).
• Install or repair sheet rock and other wall coverings; paint designated areas.
• Install, replace and program televisions; perform minor plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain PM records for rooms and equipment.
• Maintain building exterior and curb appeal of hotel grounds.
