Job summary

Indus Hospitality Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Engineering Supervisor to lead our hotel maintenance team.

You will direct the Engineering department, mentor staff, and ensure all building systems are operating safely and efficiently. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems, as well as maintaining preventative maintenance schedules across guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises associates in the Engineering department; plan, assign and direct work; appraise performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems, including HVAC, fire suppression, boilers/chillers, PTACs, and related wiring.
• Perform repairs in facilities including painting, wallpaper, tub and sink repairs, outlet and bulb replacement, woodworking, concrete and tile.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule for public spaces, guest rooms, and equipment (laundry, HVAC, ice machines, alarms, kitchen appliances, plumbing).
• Train staff on sprinkler and fire alarm procedures.
• Coordinate outdoor seasonal work and snow removal; conduct quarterly fire drills and OSHA/Safety training.
