Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management’s property in Fort Lauderdale Weston is seeking a Chief Engineer to direct all engineering operations, energy management, and asset protection. You will lead the Engineering staff, manage budgeting, and align with brand standards and safety regulations.

This role requires a proven track record in building management, strong leadership, and the ability to drive preventative maintenance programs while ensuring exceptional guest service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related experience in building management/engineering.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel environment preferred.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with budget oversight.

Responsibilities

• Direct all facets of Engineering and align with brand standards.
• Lead budgeting, asset protection, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with General Manager and corporate office on asset tracking and safety compliance.
• Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through reliable engineering operations.
