Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering team and drive guest satisfaction by maintaining the property and equipment. You will oversee safety, security, asset protection, and vendor management while managing the departmental budget and preventive maintenance programs.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of building systems (M&E, HVAC, electrical, plumbing), and experience in hospitality maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years in maintenance.
• Hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Current pool certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering team: hiring, training, scheduling, evaluations.
• Oversee maintenance of hotel facilities and systems.
• Ensure safety, security, and asset protection.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and vendor proposals.
• Respond to guest issues and manage life-safety inspections.
• Maintain electronic work order systems and cleanliness.
