Crestline Hotels & Resorts seeks a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering team in maintaining the property, grounds, and mechanical systems with a focus on safety and asset protection. The role includes vendor oversight, budgeting, and a strong preventative maintenance program.

The ideal candidate will manage staff, ensure compliance with codes, and coordinate maintenance using electronic systems, while upholding brand standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of experience in maintenance in a hospitality environment preferred.
• Current pool certification or ability to obtain certification is required for properties with pool facilities.

Aufgaben

• Lead Engineering employees including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Conduct walk-throughs to assess the safe operation of hotel systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC).
• Ensure projects and maintenance meet brand standards and codes.
• Present cost-effective proposals for maintaining or repairing systems.
• Perform guest response and preventive maintenance work orders as needed.
• Schedule work within the preventive maintenance program to minimize guest impact.
• Inspect and certify Life Safety equipment per code and brand standards.
• Assess critical situations and coordinate immediate responses.
• Utilize electronic work order systems to manage maintenance.
