Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering team, maintaining the building, grounds, and mechanical systems while emphasizing safety, asset protection and guest satisfaction.

The role oversees vendor relations, departmental budgeting, and a comprehensive preventive maintenance program. Responsibility includes hiring, training, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with codes and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required, plus 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Hospitality experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering team including hiring, training, scheduling and evaluations.
• Oversee safe operation of hotel's mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Ensure projects and repairs meet brand standards and codes; manage cost proposals.
• Perform preventive maintenance and life-safety inspections as required.
• Coordinate with departments to minimize guest disruption during works.
