Dimension Hospitality is seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to lead the maintenance department for a well-operated hotel. You will oversee all building systems, supervise a team of maintenance professionals, ensure preventive maintenance, safety standards, and guest satisfaction.

You will manage repairs, budget, and vendor relations while coordinating with hotel leadership to maintain a safe, efficient environment and reliable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous engineering or maintenance leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Organized, dependable, and safety focused.
• Able to lead, train, and motivate a maintenance team.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Comfortable working hands on and managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to lift, move, climb, and work with tools and equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible to work any shifts including holidays and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the maintenance and engineering team
• Oversee daily repairs, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Ensure proper operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Manage department budgeting, inventory, and vendor relationships
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and regulatory standards
• Support maintenance team with troubleshooting and project work
• Respond quickly to urgent issues and guest impact situations
• Coordinate effectively with hotel leadership and all departments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized engineering shop and work areas
