Job summary

JL Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering/Maintenance department and actively participate in daily operations. You will oversee preventive maintenance, manage vendor relationships, and work with hotel leadership to protect the property and provide a safe, well‑maintained environment for guests and staff.

The ideal candidate brings hands‑on leadership and strong troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and a track record

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance and supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety, and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to lead a hands-on maintenance team while directing daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the Engineering/Maintenance department.
• Maintain safety, appearance, and functionality of hotel assets and systems.
• Respond to maintenance needs and manage preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal leadership on projects and budgets.
