Job summary

Dimension Hospitality Group is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead all engineering, maintenance, and building systems for a new hotel opening. This hands-on leader will oversee construction closeout, commissioning, and the development of preventive maintenance and operating procedures.

You will partner with ownership, contractors, and brand representatives to ensure brand standards and a smooth transition to daily operations, while managing a team and supporting energy management and cost-control

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hotel engineering leadership experience.
• Pre-opening hotel experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Experience reading blueprints and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the hotel's engineering and maintenance team.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations, work orders, and repairs.
• Ensure operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Manage budgets, inventories, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
• Support safety, quality, and brand standards during opening.
