Job summary

The San Ramon Marriott seeks a Director of Engineering to lead preventive maintenance, life safety, and utilities across the property. You will oversee capital projects, manage a team of engineers, and ensure operations meet brand and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, records management, and coordinating with IT, FF&E, and facilities teams. Strong leadership and technical expertise are essential to protect guests and assets while driving energy efficiency and guest

Qualifications

• College degree or courses in engineering are helpful.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience at a comparable location.
• Hotel/ hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for all building systems.
• Monitor life safety, utilities, and compliance with codes.
• Manage engineering capital projects and budgeting.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate engineering staff.
• Maintain accurate records for R&M budgets and inspections.
