Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts in San Ramon is seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to supervise the property’s mechanical and electrical systems, monitor life safety, and ensure compliance with corporate and local codes. You’ll lead engineering staff and manage capital projects to protect assets, guests, and associates.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and IT systems, plus strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• College degree or engineering-related coursework preferred.
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• 3+ years hands-on experience at a comparable location.
• Hotel experience preferred.
