Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Engineer Level 1 to ensure the property is maintained in top condition with minimal guest disruption. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, system readings, and record-keeping across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and facilities.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to codes, and teamwork with hotel staff, with opportunities to support multiple properties and grow technical skills in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical equipment.
• Take readings on equipment and test systems.
• Repair and maintain swimming pools, spas, and related systems.
• Repair hotel fixtures, lighting, and doors, and program electronic locks.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with codes.
