Job summary

Regency Hotel Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced cook to join our hotel kitchen.

You will showcase high standards of quality in presentation, preparation, and cooking to delight our guests. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of restaurant or hotel cooking experience, are flexible to work nights and weekends, and are committed to clean, safe food handling while collaborating with servers and fellow staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1-year experience cooking at a restaurant or full-service hotel.
• Culinary school 2-4 year degree preferred.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or direct preparation of food using established production procedures.
• Determine amount and type of food and supplies required using production systems.
• Learn menus, recipes, preparation, and presentation.
• Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards.
• Correctly prepare all food served following standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Plan production to coordinate with meal serving hours to preserve excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance.
• Keep work area neat and clean; clean and maintain equipment used in food preparation.
• Prep all food for next shift and for the following day.
• Work with servers to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve complaints about food service as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
