Job summary

Corpay is seeking a Hotel Collections Specialist in St. Charles, IL to manage end-to-end collection and reconciliation of hotel commission payments. You will work with hotel partners, hotel relations, client services, and accounting to ensure accurate, timely payments.

The role offers on-site work in St. Charles with training, company equipment, and a supportive team focused on improving billing processes and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in collections, accounts receivable, or hospitality billing.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a diplomatic approach.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with accounting or CRM systems.
• Experience with hotel partners or travel/hospitality is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; finance/business degree preferred.
• Collaborative, solutions-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor hotel partner commission payments on a rolling basis.
• Follow up with hotel partners via calls and emails to collect outstanding commissions.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in billing, payments, and rate disputes.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities in internal systems.
• Collaborate with hotel relations, client services, and accounting teams.
• Escalate payment challenges to management as needed.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on collection status and trends.
• Review hotel agreements and stay data for commission compliance.
• Suggest process improvements for billing and reporting.
