Corpay is hiring a Cash Application Specialist for the ALE Solutions division in St. Charles, IL. The role is hybrid, with responsibilities including posting payments, reconciling with invoices, and resolving payment discrepancies.

You will work with the A/R Manager and accounting staff, handling lockbox, electronic, and card payments, and supporting various reconciliations and inquiries. Training is provided and MS Office skills are essential.

Formación

• 1–3 years of data entry and high volume call center experience.
• Prior Accounts Receivable or payment processing experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• D365, ACT database, High Radius, One Inc or Orbital experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Processing Lockbox and electronic payments from carriers and settling against invoices.
• Processing physical checks and posting to invoicing and GL accounts.
• Processing credit card transactions and coordinating with Billing teams.
• Identifying and resolving payment discrepancies.
• Reviewing weekly and monthly aging discrepancies.
• Assisting staff with researching payment inquiries and discrepancies.
• Supporting disputed credit card payments and other deposits.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Cash Application Specialist within our ALE Solutions division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business. This role is Hybrid, and is located in St. Charles, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for reducing and maintaining acceptable levels of outstanding balances on Accounts Receivable. You will be recording client payments and ensuring that payments are accurate. You will report directly to the A/R Manager and regularly collaborate with accounting staff

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Processing Lockbox and electronic payments received from carriers and settling the payments against invoices
• Processing physical check payments received from carriers, vendors, and policyholders against invoicing and general ledger accounts
• Processing credit card transactions and sending invoice requests to appropriate Billing teams for posting
• Identifying and resolving payment discrepancies
• Reviewing weekly and monthly aging discrepancies
• Assisting client-facing staff with researching payment inquiries, adjustments, and discrepancies
• Supporting disputed credit card payments
• Assisting and backing up other deposits
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• 1–3 years of data entry, high volume call center experience
• Prior Accounts Receivable or payment processing experience preferred
• College degree preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with specific proficiency in Outlook and Excel
• D365 experience a plus
• ACT database experience a plus
• High Radius, One Inc and/or Orbital experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, role involves a high volume of time sensitive data entry and correction
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet vital deadlines, stay organized, solve problems, multi-task, and work effectively in a team
• Ability to concentrate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Pay Transparency

The expected hourly range for this position is $20- $22, based on the candidate's work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process.
