Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks an experienced Assistant General Manager for a prominent hotel south of Raleigh, NC. You will partner with the General Manager to drive daily operations, guest satisfaction, and revenue performance across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Guest Services.

The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years in hotel management, proven team development, strong leadership and communication, and a track record of maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of hotel management experience, including department head, AGM, or equivalent leadership roles.
• Proven ability to lead teams across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest satisfaction metrics, and revenue management principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily hotel operations and partner with General Manager to drive overall performance.
• Oversee departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Guest Services) to ensure service standards.
• Develop and mentor team members to support growth and succession planning.
• Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and optimize revenue opportunities.
