Job summary

MCR seeks an Assistant General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Solomons in Dowell, MD to lead daily guest service, housekeeping oversight, and front-of-house operations with a focus on consistency and hospitality.

You will train staff, supervise check-ins/check-outs during peak periods, monitor room inspections and safety, and partner with leadership to optimize quality, inventory, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in hospitality.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Train and supervise staff on service standards.
• Monitor room cleanliness, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Manage check-in/check-out processes during peak periods.
• Prepare and review shift schedules; control labor costs.
• Collaborate with General Manager on budgeting and purchasing.
