Job summary

The Granite Grill in Richmond, VA is seeking energetic part-time Hosts/Greeters to join our team. You will greet guests, manage reservations, and assist in seating while delivering friendly, attentive service.

We train in steps of service, menus, and company values, with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction. Flexible evenings/weekends and at least 3 shifts weekly are required; 17+ years old and English proficient are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Previous hosting experience is a plus, but training will be provided
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends and at least 3 shifts per week
• Must be 17 years of age and proficient in English

The Granite Grill in Richmond, Virginia, is hiring part-time hosts to join our team! We are looking for energetic, friendly, and attentive team players who love to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Hosts are immersed in a training program to become knowledgeable about our steps of service, food and beverage menus, and company values.

Greeters are the face of the restaurant and leave a lasting impression by:

• Creating a great first impression when greeting guests with warmth and professionalism

• Managing the reservation system accurately and efficiently

• Promptly seating guests

• Providing customer service when managing the phone lines

• Supporting the other server staff to clear tables and run dishes

• Anticipating guest needs and responding quickly to requests

• Working as part of a team to prepare the restaurant for service and keep the shift moving smoothly

What we are looking for
