Job summary

The Granite Grill in Richmond, Virginia, is hiring part-time and full-time bartenders to join the opening service team of this exciting new full-service restaurant. We seek energetic, friendly, and attentive team players who love delivering memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Training will cover service steps, menus, and our company values as the opening date targets late October. Bartenders are the face of the restaurant, delivering warmth, knowledge, and thoughtful recommendations

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Evenings and weekends availability; at least 3 shifts per week.
• Must be 21+, English proficiency, able to lift 25 pounds and stand for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet bar guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Create cocktails according to recipes.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
• Handle payments.
• Keep bar clean and prepared for service; assist with bar setup/breakdown.

The Granite Grill in Richmond, Virginia, is hiring part-time and full-time bartenders to join the opening service team of this highly anticipated, new full-service restaurant! We are looking for energetic, friendly, and attentive team players who love to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Bartenders are immersed in a training program to become knowledgeable in our steps of service, food and beverage menus, and company values. The opening date is targeted for the end of October.

Bartenders are the face of the restaurant and leave a lasting impression by:

• Greeting bar guests with warmth and professionalism
• Creating a convivial bar atmosphere
• Providing menu knowledge and making thoughtful recommendations
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Creating cocktails according to recipes
• Delivering food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards
• Anticipating guest needs and responding quickly to requests
• Handling payments
• Working as part of a team to prepare the bar for service and keep the shift moving smoothly including bar cleaning, glass cleaning, pre-bussing

What we are looking for:

• Previous bartending experience is a preferred
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and at least 3 shifts per week
• Must be 21 years of age, proficient in English, lift 25 pounds, and able to stand and move about the restaurant for the duration of the shift.
