Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor (Hourly) to lead dining room and kitchen operations, recruit and develop the hospitality team, and drive an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced casual setting in Columbia, SC. This role is designed to prepare you for restaurant management and will teach leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of supervisory experience in casual dining, strong communication, and the ability to train

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a casual dining restaurant.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
• Able to make decisions and resolve problems.
• Able to guide, direct, and motivate staff.
• Able to plan and prioritize tasks.
• Able to train staff and monitor processes.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the operation of the dining room and kitchen.
• Assist Managers with recruiting, leading, training, and developing the hospitality team.
• Provide vision, coaching, and feedback around guest experience to ensure friendly, efficient service.
• Foster team cohesiveness and a positive working environment.
• Oversee opening and closing activities.
• Ensure excellent customer service and high sanitation standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and security policies.
• Adhere to alcohol regulations and assist with peak-time duties.
• Monitor guest complaints and resolve issues to protect guest satisfaction.
• Learn administrative duties including scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
