Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants in Richmond, VA is looking for Service Assistants to keep the dining room running smoothly and help craft memorable guest experiences. You will prepare your station, stock supplies, and follow standard operating procedures to ensure a polished service.

You will greet guests warmly, assist servers, and support carrying orders while maintaining a positive, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Energetic with a positive hospitality mindset.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent reading, writing, and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare your station and use company checklists.
• Keep dining area stocked with tableware and supplies.
• Follow SOPs to prep work areas for opening, mid-shift, and closing.
• Keep the dining room clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Restock and reset tables quickly to welcome guests promptly.
• Communicate with servers and managers to ensure seamless service.
• Assist with food running and carryout orders as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and answer questions about food and facilities.
• Go beyond expectations to create memorable moments.
• Support the team so every shift feels like a win.
