Hyatt Regency Austin is seeking a professional Security Officer to join our security team. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment for guests, staff, and visitors with attention to detail and strong judgment.

Responsibilities include patrolling, incident reporting, policy enforcement, and collaboration with hotel departments and emergency services as needed. Excellent communication and a customer-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the safety and security of hotel guests, employees, and property.
• Patrol hotel premises and respond promptly to incidents or safety concerns.
• Enforce hotel policies and safety procedures in a courteous and professional manner.
• Accurately document incidents and accidents through detailed reports.
• Collaborate with various hotel departments, leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Assist with additional tasks to ensure a safe, secure, welcoming environment.
