Job summary

Ascent Hospitality seeks a Restaurant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee personnel, cost control, and inventory, while aligning with brand standards and hospitality values.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, budgeting, safety, and training. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a guest-focused mindset within a hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must have current food handler’s card and alcohol service certifications as required by laws.
• Three to five years’ experience in hospitality, guest-focused preferred.
• High School education is required or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant operations, personnel, cost, and inventory.
• Create staff schedules, forecast needs, and oversee ordering.
• Direct service on the floor, reflect hotel brand culture.
• Hire, train, and manage restaurant team members.
• Maintain safety programs and ensure clean, safe work areas.
• Monitor budgets, control costs, and analyze financial performance.
• Ensure proper cash handling and POS operations.
• Uphold food/beverage menus, standards, and service levels.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and address guest feedback promptly.
