The role is responsible for providing support of the New Belgium brand experience through both paid and private tours, beer education and knowledge and exceptional customer service and sales and may include guest-facing food service support.This position is available for part-time or full-time hours.Shift will be Wednesday-Sunday. Hours range from 9AM-10PM depending on full-time or part-time status.Essential Duties:Provide excellent customer service and education on NBB beers, culture and business practicesGuides guest on tours around the brewery and providing exceptional experiencesConduct retail operations, including merchandise stocking/handling, register/money handlingUnderstand and practices New Belgium’s safety guidelinesProvide food service support as business needs require inclusive but not limited to serving food items, maintaining service areas, taking guests ordersOther duties as assignedEducation/ Experience/Skills:Minimum six (6) months of customer service-related work experienceExceptional customer service skills and abilitiesGeneral knowledge of brewing and the beer industryKnowledge and understanding of local laws/guidelines around identification and service of alcohol (TIPS trained)Exceptional communication skills and ability to speak in front of larges groupsGeneral understanding of new Belgium’s branding theories, practices and strategic visionGeneral computer and email skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekends.Ability to deal with difficult situations and resolve matters appropriately and effectivelyAbility to provide guest-facing food service support when neededPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift objects weighing up to 90 lbs. 10 inches and carry up to 40 lbs. 100 feet.Ability to push/pull weights up to 50 lbs. and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and cases.Must also show fine motor dexterity.Demonstrate their ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, twist, squat and reach overhead.The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.Working Conditions: Liquid Center, Production AreasWage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position.
