Job summary

New Belgium Brewing in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Hospitality Team Lead to guide guest experiences and oversee daily operations behind the bar and in the cafe, aligning with brand standards and safety requirements. You will coordinate Front of House and Back of House activities and help drive engaging events.

The role emphasizes staff leadership, budgeting insights, and collaboration with Sales and Branding to reflect the Liquid Center aesthetic while maintaining compliance with alcohol service

Qualifications

• Four years of team management and customer service experience
• Experience managing or supporting food service operations
• Thorough knowledge of NBB and Bells brands, history, process, culture, and the beer industry
• In depth knowledge of marketing/branding practices and procedures at NBB
• In depth knowledge of Windows OS andMicrosoft Office
• Working knowledge of financial statements
• Advanced verbal and written communication and public speaking skills
• Thorough understanding of legal requirements for serving alcohol
• Knowledgeable in brewing processes and NBB and Bells beers

Job description

**Working Conditions:** Office; Restaurant environment; Position requires working nights & weekends.

Physical Requirements :

• The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).

• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.

• Must be able to move and process information quickly.

• Continuously bend, reach, twist and use your hands and arms.

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is New Belgium’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00
